What is the Maori Business Network Code of Ethics ?
Membership of MBN is open to any individual or organisation and is not restricted by reason of gender, race or business activity. Members must read, agree with and be willing to adhere to our code of ethics.
- We respect the rights of those individuals and groups that we affect, the same as we would wish to be respected.
- Responsibility for our actions towards others must always be paramount.
- We recognise and accept the range of ideas, beliefs and ideals of others.
I am not Maori. Can I become a member ? OR I don’t have my own business. Can I join MBN?
Of course! Membership of MBN is open to any individual or organisation and is not restricted by reason of gender, race or business activity. Members must read, agree with and be willing to adhere to our code of ethics.
Some business networks are free to join. Why does MBN charge money for membership?
The membership fees cover administration costs, including the design and maintenance of the website. We are proudly independent and unlike some networks, not sponsored by large corporations which might obligate us to toe the line on issues we feel are important to speak up about.
The MBN membership fee is actually great value. Business networks attract an average of $300.00 in annual fees. Review the page About Us for benefits available to you as a financial member.
